Pictured above is Jesse Williams, Jr.; he is the Class of '62 President. He is with his classmates, Laura A. Bush, Delores Anderson and Anne Cooke; Anne is the class of '62 secretary. Arguably, the Class of '62 was the class that set the stage and demonstrated to those classes to follow, particularly in the '60's, how a 'senior high school class should posture and conduct itself. They were the first class to produce a Yearbook at Michael C. Riley; they were a fiercely competitive group who had both individual; and group visions of how to proceed with the future. After graduation, they ventured out into the world, pursuing their own individuality, yet most maintained a keen sense of 'family and community;' and continued an intense sense of - "class of '62 camaraderie.' They were the first class to formally organized and held a Class Reunion - 1972 and has consistently reunited every ten years thereafter.
